Source of Vila Gaon's 4 Daily Meditations

Could anyone please tell me the source for the Vila Gaon's statement? I want to know where he writes it.

(19) Anonymous, June 2, 2013 10:43 AM

The Fantastic Four

I wish( high ) schools would teach this " simple" concept! It would provide a measure of clarity in this mixed up world we live in!

(17) Zelig Pliskin, May 31, 2013 6:09 AM

GREAT!!!

This is really powerful!
Anyone applying this daily will be empowered.

(16) Anonymous, May 30, 2013 10:07 PM

Thanks

It really makes sense! it's so "simple" but so complex at the same time...thank you so much for sharing this.

Line 4 stymies me....

Whatever exists (to do ) now is generally not the only thing you need to focus on in a day. Multi-tasking is nerve shattering for me, but if I focus on only one thing at a time,...lots of important stuff won't get done. Can you clarify please? thank you.

(14) Yosef, May 30, 2013 6:38 PM

That was great! I needed that!

Thanks!

niiiiice

Rav Gav, I'm really going to miss our gemara shiur. So much so that I'm going to have to resort to coming to your ESSENTIALS classes instead ; ). Or I could just come on this website every day... =)

(11) Anonymous, December 31, 2009 8:13 AM

Great!

Thanks for the video! Can you tell me the source where the Vilna Gaon lists those 4 please (or if anyone else knows)

(10) Helene Harris, December 29, 2009 4:02 PM

Great talk

I listed to 4 Daily Meditations twice so far. It makes sense. Number 1, Today is the only day. Do not procrastinate. If there is some you have to do, do it and it's over. Go on to the next thing. Tomorrow is another day, but when it arrives, surprise, it is today.
