How to Say Thank You

It's all in the details.

Expressing Thanks

Say thank-you, then elaborate. Two weeks ago a relative wrote me a letter asking me if I want this piece of furniture that's been in the family for awhile. I wrote her in return accepting her offer. I thanked her for it in advance, and went on how this piece of furniture will help me in organizing my closets and space. Also in detail what a wonderful person she is. Letting her know her thoughtfulness was more than a piece of furniture. I didn't have to have what she was offering, however I didn't want her to miss out on a blessing in giving so I accepted her generosity. Another relative went out of town today to pick it up. Another thank-you in store. I have a bucket of cookies, and dinner to go waiting for them.

Hello Tzvi, you know what! I was in a office in Ramat Negev, and I just finished coffee number 5, and I clicked on this video, and my attention was captured for two minutes, and I find myself smiling in front of this computer, and I started to think about my girlfriend and the great humus she cooked for me and and perhaps I haven't said thank you enough so that I will go through the all cooking experience with her and if it happens to you to pass by Sede Boker (Negev) do not hesitate to stop by for some spaghetti (original recipe from my mother:)

yeah man, thanks

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! THAT WAS AWESOME!! AHHHH. Kidding :) What about buying the person dinner? Or even helping them out with a favour next time? I feel like if someone is giving something to you, you have to try to give to them as well- sort of like paying it forward :)

I love this clip.

Great insight into Hakatrat Hatov when there are not enough words to express how to say thank you.

my mother z"l always said you don't thank for the, mitzva

nu, so who is right , you or my mom???? she said because if you thank the person for the mitzva they did, then the mitzva is taken away, please explain, she is no longer here for me to ask
