Fix Yourself

Want to make the world a better place? Start by bettering yourself, the only person you can actually change.

Not My Favourite Video...

No, I'm not too keen on some of this video... Normally I find Prager University videos really excellent...... Unfortunately I find this one questionable in places,,, It seems to me that the whole emphasis is on "self" and nothing but "self", and in my book, that "ain't good"! .... No mention of asking G-d to help us to improve, and as for "tikkun olam", not a lot of hope for that either!... I'm sorry, but this video hasn't done it for me, and also it might be an idea if someone was to politely mention to Jordan Peterson, that a smile goes a long, long way to improve many situations... שלום ... Decluttering one's physical environment

When we can distinguish a want from a need, we are in a better position to help ourselves as well as friends and family members. A person may WANT to buy a $90,000 car but does he/she necessarily NEED such a car? Would it make his/her life more complicated? When we own fewer material possessions we can do a better job of looking inside of ourselves, IMO.
