Public speaking is something that I have never feared. I've spoken to more than 3,000 people. Why don't I have that fear? Because if I stumble and people laugh, I laugh with them.

That, plus the people there WANT to be there. If I err, so what? Nobody is perfect.

Hi Charlie, Thank you for your words of wisdom. I was wondering if you would be open to sharing the exact prayer that is part of your pre-game ritual (i.e., the exact words you say) as others, like myself, may find comfort in them. Thank you very much! R.

There are no words to describe how much I enjoy this show

There are not enough words to describe how much I enjoy this show. Charlie is a phenomenal; dynamic, charismatic speaker, and I gain so much from his practical, down-to-earth wisdom. I sincerely hope that this show will be a permanent fixture of Aish

Making Introductions, Small Talk & Face-to-Face Sales Techniques

Hi Charlie,

Thank you! I found this video extremely interesting.

I also work in sales for a leading financial publisher.

I've recently been promoted after 3 years, in a mainly phone-based sales role, into a face-to-face Business Development Manager-role that will require frequent travel, sales meetings, pitches and networking with clients at conferences.

- How can I get over my nerves, and be effective when meeting clients/introducing myself to prospective clients at conferences?

- How can I make small talk with senior and c-level executives, and make sure I say the right thing, and not just some uninteresting or random comment?

- How can I be effective in selling face-to-face, and pitching clients at conferences, and meetings?

- How can I be a Kiddush Hashem, maintain moral integrity in a high-pressure, competitive sales environment?

Thank you, Harrison
