The word perfect.......

can be VERY damaging. For the last several years I have been learning how to read Hebrew. I do not have an hour a day to practice, but I carve out practice time on a consistent basis. Right now I am teaching myself how to read and write Hebrew and cursive, as I only knew how to read and write block print. I practice writing in cursive for a few minutes, 6 days a week in the morning before my family wakes up. If I waited for "the perfect time" to accomplish these goals, nothing would have gotten done.

Try Breaking the Vase to Free the Hand? (Bart'w Smart)

I agree with Bart.

Sometimes letting go may mean giving up on something BIGGER and BETTER.
The vase may be precious, but the lesson learned may be more precious still.

Yes, we might discover, later, an easier way, to release the hand.
But a lesson in sacrifice, might be invaluable..

THANKS Much H

Too narrow minded

Hey, I find your advice a bit too narrow minded.

If we strive our own goals, the bible teaches us they won't lead to what we think it leads to. Following God will lead us to things we could not even think of

So if you make choices based on your inner desires, I am not sure that is the best advice.
Maybe short term it will work.
