Enjoyed watching

I enjoyed watching Rabbi Tzvi, he made some good points about doing what is right even when its not comfortable. And he said to do things that are good for the sake of good.

I think all good people enjoy the satisfaction of the good they do. So I agree with most of what R' Tzvi says, but I believe there is lots of room at "the top" ( top- meaning to be a good person). meaning if a person is aiming to do good, even if a part of why he is doing the Charity or helping someone (family or starnger) is the appreciation.

Still there are many who do not aim for this. So bottom line, I think its fine to do good because it feels good. And that we should aim to also have the strength to do the good even when it doesn't. But I don't think they need to be mutually exclusive, and I doubt there is a human being on this planet who is capable of doing all of his/her good just for the sake of good.

We all need to get that satisfying feeling. AND we need to train ourselves to give the charity even when we don't really like the person, or the cause is important but doensn't touch our soul... balance that is what life is all about.
