I'm really not that important

I believe in G*d. And the G*d I believe in is omniscient and omnipotent. He created me and everything else that ever was or will be. That's how I know he's not out to get me.

See if he were out to get me, I'd be got. Who is there to complain to? Hes the final authority. Thats the omnipotent part. Or if he really didn't like me I would never have been because he created me knowing what I'd do. Why he going to create someone he doesnt like just to torture him? That's the omniscient part.

So there has to be another reason he created me and leaves me in his creation despite the mistakes I make. Since I'm not omniscient or omnipotent and have no clue why he does what he does, all I can do is what I do in the best way I know how.

Good thing he gave us a handbook for life. Sometimes it makes it easier to make the right choice. Other times it helps us deal with the consequences of bad choices. But its all there is.

It was the correct decision to wait until after the game.

The immediate priority was to afford the pitcher the opportunity to give of his best, to concentrate on the game at hand. After the game was over, it would be best to explain to him that so much was depending upon him, that he didn't need that devastating distraction that most certainly would have affected his performance.

Who knows?

Just wondering, how do you know what God wants or doesn't want? How do you know that God is a "He"? How do you know that God wants you to pray and how to pray? What does God look like? What presumption! If I weren't an atheist, I'd be a Deist.
