A 5th answer

I liked the answers given but for me the big point, is at creation Adam and Eve chose the tree of good and evil. With evil come suffering!

Compassion help our selves eliminate suffering

Suffering, degrees of suffering, pain of corse the worst. Yes we ask God for help. we humans find compassion for others that suffer , God also wants us to help our selves .find cures for des eases. Out of compassion how one dedicated person discovery a cure for the poliovirus. Eliminated so much suffering.the scientist took much effort Yes God gave him the Gift and we are so Greatful.

Carefully and caringly worded message.

We inflict suffering to ourselves

When my children would tell me that they were thirsty, I became suddenly deaf. Only when they used the magic words "please and thank you" they would get a glass of water. G-d is also a father and demands respect. When did you tell Him thank You for your sight or how beautiful is the world He has offered us? And the list is kilometers long. Don't ask such questions, Be a good child and show you are grateful. If not, don't protest your suffering.

I sent this video to a family member who is undergoing impossible suffering. Exactly what she and I needed to hear. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
