We need more stories about people helping people.

This story is such a contrast to what we see every day on TV and read in the newspapers. To think one act of kindness by a Jewish store owner decades before inspired the banker to give the group $500,000 to build a shul.
It is better to light one candle than to curse the darkness has beren proven again.

seeds in the apple

I so enjoyed this video about the seeds in an apple. It was a touching story to hear about the kindness long ago of a man named
Sam Bukovetsky in Canada. I will remember his name. You are a great storyteller and have a wonderful voice-just-as a suggestion if I may -just a little bit less expression/gestures would be better.and please put a few pauses and smiles into your video. Thank you.

Amazing story

Amazing story, My Rebbi told me this nearly 30 years ago. It was not only the community in Hamilton that was impacted. Rabbi Green then went on to impact a young man ( probably many more) who then went to Yeshiva, became a Rebbi and then a prominent principle of a large yeshiva who has since impacted Thousands of talmidim. I too and my children owe alot to Sam Bukovetsky. " Only G-d can count the apples in one seed...)

Wow, that was so beautiful.

Thank you for the story, and for reminding us that we never know... We never know the good that can come from a single act. Wow, you made me cry :-)

That is unbelievable. Such an honor for us that you have watched this video about your uncle. He was a truly righteous man. This story is often told by Rabbi Daniel Green; the son of Rabbi Mordechai Green from the story. Rabbi Daniel Green, took over for his father as the Rabbi of Adas Israel Synagogue in Hamilton.

This was beautiful tribute to a wonderful giving person.

There should be giving people in this world
