Wow! Connor is a wonderful young man and a fantastic big brother. I'm sitting here with tears in my eyes. Then again, who would not be crying after watching such a touching story. Yasher Koach to these parents for raising such fine children! :-)

Total Righteousness

True exceptionalism! Took my breath away. I saw in this boy a lot of what was in my own children, who acted as the older siblings (though they were in actuality the younger sibs) of a brother who was severely handicapped; they would do anything for him, and tolerated no insults or put-downs from other ignorant kids. Such sensitivity - gives immense strength to the parents, I might add. Additionally: there is a Yeshiva whose mission statement of Torah along with Kindness embodies this in practice throughout its very integrated classrooms, hallways, and playing fields, and deserves public acclaim: Yeshiva Darchei Torah, Far Rockaway, NY. Would that they were not a singular institution in this way; May Rabbi Bender shlita and his Yeshiva serve as an example for the whole Yeshiva system worldwide.

Brotherly love

Thank you Aish for bringing us stories of courage & love that are from " the outside".... ( Sports Illustrated)! Conner's connection to his younger brother is amazing.

Connor gives & Caden gives. (And the parents as well.)

What Connor does for Caden is amazing. But let's not underestimate what Caden does for Connor. Each gives and each receives --- each in his own way. HaShem doesn't make mistakes. He made each boy exactly how he was meant to be. And each boy is meant to grow and use all that HaShem gave him. (And let's give credit also to the parents, who are raising these boys to be all they can be, to the highest heights.)

Tears in 30 seconds

What a marvelous "big brother". No matter what is in store in his future, his life is already fantastic.

Thank You!

Thank you, Connor, for modeling for us all God's selfless love for us, His flawed creations.
