Thank you for all your hard work procucing and hosting this. Although I'm old and retired, I've become a big fan of Slam Poetry. And this young man, has taken the earthly and lifted into the realm of holy communication. May G-d bless it to reach those who can relate and need it's inspiration.

What a very courageous and extraordinary young man

This is immensely moving. Nissim's music will influence many people with it's direct message and genuine faith His lyrics are serious and convincing and reflect a degree of faith in Hashem that is enviable. He has erected no barricades, no defenses, and has shared his pain and confusion and very personal struggles with us in order to help others find a way out of their own difficulties. I hope he starts a Yeshiva, I am sure he can bring help and peace to many people, young and not young.

May he always be guided by the Light
G-d bless!

(32) Jackie Bourg, November 27, 2013 1:55 AM

I am happy that the young man saw all the lies and fables in Xtianity - for HaShem has also removed me from that.

I hope Nissim sees all our comments...I am PROUD of you Nissim -- You made the right choice. Be blessed man.

It's not an easy road... I had to leave my family to follow into the faith of our fathers... yes, my ancestors were Jews from the Spanish Inquisition...but we wandered and forced conversion was put upon us as a yoke of bondage.

NISSIM™, November 27, 2013 6:50 PM

I see them, B'H! Thank you Jackie, freedom is bliss. All the best!

(31) Rebekah, November 27, 2013 12:27 AM

this is BEAUTIFUL. so inspiring. keep it up!

(23) soraya, November 25, 2013 12:27 PM

2013 - or - 5774

yes, it's a long journey, but the fact that this starts out with Hanukah 2-0-1-3 is precisely how "hit'yavnut" works - what kind of date is 2013 in an Israelite story that comes much earlier than two thousand thirteen years ago? The Greeks sought to alter our connection with Hashem's time frame for us by banning the ceremony for declaring the new month, which would of course mess with setting all the festivals and pilgrimages etc; and mingling "2013" in with anything to do with Hanuka would probably make the Khashmona'im turn in their graves! Next song you'll fix it, maybe?

(22) Frances, November 25, 2013 6:38 AM

What dis unite [human] Beings

It mainly is Ethnicism/Racism and/or Ideologism/Ideologies [be it/them of theistic Type or of atheistic or else]. Usually these [in human] ''Reasons'' are supported by [and/or spread through] so called ''holy'' or ''revered'' Book, so to call them ''written Masterpieces'' that [should] righteously inspire Souls/Brains [in order to turn People into better Ones] but whose Results are often Separateness. Undoubtely Chanukah 2013 will better ''inner lighten'' [en lighten] Souls/Brains about this very Subject. Shalom/Salaam/Peace ... and Ahvh/Hobb/Love .. and .. Or/Noor/Light: merry Chanukah to everyOne/everyBody.

(21) Ted, November 25, 2013 5:58 AM

Love the way this guy did this. Passover was the first written revolution for freedom and the Torah was the first to support equality & rights for all people.

(20) ARAY, November 25, 2013 5:20 AM

Thank u

Thank you Nissim for sharing your victory. I pray for my wayward children everyday. May your Chanukah this year be better then last year. Thank you for searching for the light and being a light to others.

(19) Anonymous, November 25, 2013 3:55 AM

So true

Baruch Hashem! I read your story over the summer and this song is SO moving ... especially for me, another person that did a google search, many, on the origins of the church...May we continue to seek, learn, guard and do the truth and help bring light to the world, you are not alone. Some refer to Ezekial 37 ... the dry valley of bones is waking up! We are strong and united, one people, your story will change lives. Shalom!

(18) Blanche, November 25, 2013 3:52 AM

May many of our South Africans seek and find Who was found by this man, we would be a better country for it. Thanks for the posting, Great.

(17) Grampy, November 25, 2013 1:55 AM

I didn't like it.....

I have no doubt this person is a righteous Jew, and overcame many things to find his way to Jewish observance. But Rap music (I'm being generous calling it music), while it may be the only way for him to express himself, should not be held out and some new inspirational medium for Jews,,,,,

(16) Helena, November 24, 2013 7:32 PM

This song speaks volumes. When we return to G-d he heals our heart and we can inspire others who are going through the same pain. One thing though, all the people int he Torah were black so when he says he found Judaism, he is actually returning to his roots. Moshe was black, Tamar, was from Cannan, Pinchas means the dark one. We Ashkenazim should thank the real Israelites for carrying the torch.

yehuda (maccabi), November 24, 2013 10:06 PM

you should seriously do more research

particularly in reponsa pertaining the Ethiopian jewery

yehuda, November 24, 2013 10:17 PM

Tamar was the daughter of Shem

Tamar was the daughter of Shem who was definitely not a Canaanite. The patriarchs stood clear of marrying into the Canaanite nation which was the main reason for Isaac not being able to marry Eliezer's daughter

Sientje Seinen, November 25, 2013 4:58 AM

The Torah

How do you know everyone was black in the Torah, middle eastern people are usually very tanned but not always black. Were Adam and Eve black, then pray tell where did the white people originate?

(15) Daniel, November 24, 2013 7:02 PM
