Rabbi please tell Tibor from a 2G daughter of Kisvarda man who survived 16 camps to be responsible to make sure he survives to testify and he is not halachically permitted to take this unnecessary risk. And Rabbi I know you are so young. Please understand there was no kol nidre in concentration camps other than what people imagined in their heads while emaciated. This man was in a labor camp. This is a grave distortion and minimizes the situation in the camps where people were lined up naked given ridiculous work like carrying urine and if they spilled a drop they were shot dead. This was seven days a week. With bitter cold and almost no water or food and severe beatings and lice and dysentery. Makes for a nice story from someone who respectfully needs to get a real education before transmitting the story not to offend those survivors still here who cannot explain the gehenom they already went thru. Similar myths occur about shofar albeit in Siberia. There is a sense of pride instead of humility when faced with survivors who rolled off jeeps to avoid gas chambers and did not have an option fir a kol nidre. Survive. Covid is spiking. Disinfect hands and mask. Gmar chaseema tova
