I am intrigued by the story of the Nikodemska family and how they managed to survive. I would love to know how they were reunited and what happened to them. It’s a great example of Hashgachat pratit

This story brought tears to my eyes
There are many kinds of miracles. My grandmother, Sophie Goldstein Sader, came from Spikow in Russia to the US before 1910. Her mother was a widow and her family was terribly poor. She was sent to work making hats. I don’t think she ever went to school. She never spoke about her life in Russia. She married my grandfather, who then in the laundry business. They went into real estate. My grandmother eventually became a member of the board of the Yeshiva University Women’s Organization. She also supported my family after my father deserted us. She was an amazing woman and I am here only because of her.
