Israel....Home Land or Shelter.

As Jews we have no other home. Idle talk means nothing, we have to live in Israel because we want to be here and not as a shelter for Homeless people.

Why do we keep having to explain ourselves as Zionists over and over again .Is the world that dumb or do they have blinders on.?

Come home!

You spoke beautifully. Kol ha kavod! Israel is our home-not just a place to run to when your in trouble. Come and join us here in Israel and build the Jewish future. Don't wait to be forced out by anti-semitisim. As my father, a survivor of Auschwitz said, "There are 2 ways to come to Israel. Either pack all your stuff on a lift or jump off a boat and swim. Come from positivity and you your own free will. Hashem wants all here. What else can He do to get you to come? Thanks for your beautiful words...

I like & support your forthright statement.

As a Kiwi supporter of Israel, I say please remember that most NZ'ers are not aware of the truth of the facts you espouse, being blinded by the accepted media bias. There are however a large number of supporters who do support the rights of the Jewish people to 'The Land'. Some of us will stand with you because we also worship the Only God, the God of Abraham, Isaac & Jacob.

The Press

Please remember that the majority of journalists and the press are not decent G-d Fearing people, and a lot of hate and false including fake news come from them, with a lot of misinformation to boot, not to mention bad journalism also. For example outside the town where I lived, I attended a political meeting and a bomb went off. Everybody rose, did not panic and sung the national anthem. The people present were ordered by the authorities to vacate the meeting. The press reported on the incident and lied by saying that the people panicked, which was not the case. A lot of racism and Anti-Semitism comes from the press, There are however some journalists and newspapers who are ethical and honest, but they are in the minority unfortunately.

She has got it right

She experiences the same feelings, every proud Jew, like myself, does in every corner of the world. Last day I watched a video where a proud Jewish woman of Norway told the same, I live in Argentina and is the same situation, all about the misconception of Zionism, it became a derogatory word

Clear position and well argued. I would rather have Israel than chaos.

I agree that the debate about Israel/Palestine has become well and truly skewed amongst our chattering and 'liberal' classes who are at a distance from hard decisions, but logic mostly doesn't prevail in politics. As a non Jewish person (Scottish descent) living in NZ with a secular Jewish partner and descended from people who fought the Ottomans I think your argument (with quibbles as to some historical detail) is supportable and clear. Good luck with the debate. I would much rather Israel exist than most of the alternatives.
