Started as a business tool

This 'story' has been through many iterations, but its origins are in a seminar for top-level business managers ( I forget the presenter's name). This was meant to teach these typeA personalities to stick to priorities, and then the 'little' things will get taken care of, as well. In other words, don't sweat the small stuff.

In life we sometimes get caught up in the minutiae of shopping, paying bills, fixing the faucet etc. And we lose sight of the most important things in life: faith, family, friends. As the popular saying goes, nobody ever said on his deathbed: I wish I had spent more time at the office. So let's get the 'big rocks' in first, schedule time with faith, family and friends, so we won't have regrets later.
