Music connects us to other dimensions..

I believe that depending on the composer and what they are linked into, music connects us to other dimensions. Those who love the one true Creator God, who see Him as the source of holiness, purity and compassion, may connect to the spiritual realm through music - perhaps even sometimes joining with the heavenly hosts.
Those who through their own philosophical or spiritist involvements can write music which allows evil and dark thoughts to attack our minds. Depending on how open we allow ourselves to be we can even be seriously affected by what is being conveyed through that music.. Someone wrote "..whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, think about these things."
We are biological creatures, but our essence as being made in the image of G-d is spiritual.

your very bare piano & images of ecstasy...

made me think of the intimate movements of the many musicians I've known & seen. When they play, it's almost as if they are praying. The Levites in the Holy Temple would play music that would lift the people so high that they would find it nearly impossible to make mistakes again. I've watched clips of animals being drawn to the music of players. We use it in meditation to slow down our thoughts, but I wish for a better, broader explanation of where music is coming from. Your piece was startlingly beautiful, thank you.
