I am not alone!!!

Thank you so much..... My soul is singing. I also have had experiences like the speakers have talked about.... raised catholic, went to catholic school ...was sent to the priest, at age 13, because I questioned why they were only teaching a "new testament"....why we went to church on Sunday , when Jesus observed the Sabbath....etc. all while observing the egg examining , covering mirrors etc in my family. I have ancestors from Portugal.... intermarrying cousins ... and have Family finder matches of names like Pereira, Alvarez, Balan, and my only Full mtdna match is a man from Brazil, who moved to Florida, named Rodrigues. I know that I have a Jewish soul. My desire is to find my Jewish grandmothers who lit candles and prayed for the future generations each Friday night. I am the only one in my family doing DNA, etc. My U6d1 Mtdna places me in the Azores, Morroco, Brazil, and Italy and I have distant relatives in Cuba, Puerto Rico, Mexico etc. Studying Torah brings me joy . Although, not totally Kosher observant, we have no pork in our home, and don't mix meat & milk dishes. Being in my late 60's , my prayer is to find my grandmothers before I die.... to leave that legacy to my only daughter. Thank you so much for the comfort that this program brought me. Shalom
